My interest in cultural Christianity led me to graduate school where I earned a Masters in Divinity and Doctor of Ministry with a focus on contextualizing discipleship resources for women of color.
Beyond my roles as a pastor and podcast host, I am blessed to be a wife of 20 years and a proud mother of four wonderful children. Family is at the core of who I am, and I cherish the moments we share together.
While a homeschool mom for 10+ years, I dedicated myself to providing my children with a nurturing and individualized education. However, my journey extends beyond the realm of education. With over 20 years of experience in the legal technology industry as a consultant, project manager, corporate trainer, and executive recruiter, I have honed my skills in various professional capacities. These diverse experiences have shaped my understanding of the world and its impact on our faith. Through my personal journey, I have come to realize the importance of culture in shaping our beliefs and practices. It is my passion to explore and understand how culture intersects with our faith and to empower others to navigate this complex relationship. In my free time, you can often find me tending to my garden, cooking, or diving into a good book. Gardening is not just a hobby for me; it is a way to connect with God’s creation and find peace and serenity amidst the busyness of life.
