Lifelong learning impacts every area of our lives. Our faith, worldview, family, educational options and career options. I’ve spent over 25 years in the tech world specifically working in the legal industry. The experiences I’ve had influence my worldview with regards to embracing technology and understanding that silos of information exist in corporate settings but also in our personal lives as we try to compartmentalize our relationships with our “work friends” or “church friends” or family and neighbors. However, we also do this with our faith and how we live that out in our everyday lives. In the weekly bible study I teach, we talk a lot about orthodoxy vs. orthopraxy. What I say I believe vs. what I do with my time and money. All of it impacts how we raise our kids and what educational choices we make for them. That brings me to homeschooling. Homeschooling in the literal sense is not school at home. Homeschooling is providing the environment for learning in your home as a lifestyle of every day living and learning.
Here on this blog, I hope to share with you a window into my journey as I homeschool my kids, discuss my faith and share my interest in culture and history, and if you’re curious or looking to work in the legal field, I’ll share resources for that too.
