A few years ago, I came across a YouTube bible study where the speaker seemed to hold views that were unfavorable towards women. This prompted me to delve deeper into Christian beliefs about women and how they sometimes deviate from the biblical teachings, favoring a Hellenistic perspective instead. Whenever someone voices their concern about the modern church being excessively influenced by the surrounding culture, I remind them that the church has always been positively and negatively impacted by the cultural norms prevalent at that time.
